ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Novena in Honor of Our Sorrowful Mother began in Chicago in 1937 by Servite Father James Keane, O.S.M., Prior of the Servite community at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Drawing its prayers from approved Catholic sources and the ancient Servite devotion of the Via Matris, Father Keane arranged the Novena honoring Holy Mary in her Sorrows and leading the faithful more deeply into the Passion of Christ.
Pray the Novena starting on Sunday, September 6th until Monday, September 14th!
