"Members of the Servite Secular Order are men and women who support each other in their marital, family, and social life and in their active involvement in the world. They strive toward holiness according to the spirituality of the Servite Order, following its directives and their own designated Rule."
The Saints Alexis & Juliana Community

VISION
Rooted in the charism of the Servite Order and inspired by the lives of Saints Alexis and Juliana, our mission as Secular Servites is to live out the Gospel through Marian devotion, fraternal communion, and compassionate service. We strive to imitate the Blessed Virgin Mary in her humility and sorrow, standing with those who suffer and bringing Christ’s love to the world. Through prayer, penance, and active charity, we seek to console the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and offer our lives as a witness to God’s mercy and salvation.
MISSION
We envision a community of faithful lay Servites deeply united in prayer, service, and love for the Church. Inspired by Our Lady of Sorrows, we seek to cultivate holiness in our daily lives, strengthen our bonds of fraternity, and become instruments of peace and reconciliation in the world. Through perseverance in our vocation, we aspire to be a light of hope, walking with Christ and Mary toward the fullness of God’s Kingdom.

CHARISM
The charism of the Secular Servites is rooted in the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary, particularly in her role as Our Lady of Sorrows. It is a call to live a life of service, compassion, and communion with Christ and His Church while remaining in the world as lay faithful.
Core Values of the Saints Alexis and Juliana Secular Servite Chapter
Marian Devotion
We strive to imitate Mary, the Mother and Servant of the Lord, by embracing her humility, faith, and compassion. Our spirituality is deeply rooted in the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady, drawing us closer to Christ through her sufferings.

Fraternal Communion
We are a family united in faith, prayer, and service. We cultivate authentic relationships based on charity, respect, and mutual support, following the example of the early Servite Fathers.

Contemplation and Prayer
We dedicate ourselves to deep prayer, especially through the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows, the Divine Office, and Eucharistic adoration. In prayer, we seek to listen to God's voice and conform our hearts to His will.

Service to the Suffering
Inspired by Mary at the foot of the Cross, we accompany those who suffer, offering comfort, compassion, and hope. We serve in our communities through pastoral care, charity, and evangelization.

Evangelization and Witness
As lay Servites, we bring Christ to the world by living our baptismal call in the spirit of the Servite Order. Our lives should reflect the Gospel, inviting others to conversion and deeper faith.

Penance and Reparation
In union with the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, we offer our sacrifices and daily struggles as acts of reparation for the sins of the world, seeking to console the Heart of Jesus.

Commitment to Holiness
We walk the path of holiness, seeking continuous conversion and purification. Through the grace of the sacraments, especially the Eucharist and Reconciliation, we grow in virtue and love for God.

Love of the Church
We remain faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church, obedient to the Magisterium, and actively engaged in our parishes and dioceses, strengthening the Body of Christ.

Simplicity and Detachment
Following the example of St. Alexis and the Servite tradition, we embrace simplicity of life and detachment from worldly distractions, so our hearts may be more fully given to God.

Perseverance in Vocation
We remain steadfast in our commitment as secular Servites, enduring trials and challenges with faith, knowing that through Mary, we will one day share in the victory of Christ.

The Secular Servite vocation is a path of prayer, fraternity, and apostolic service, lived in the Marian spirit of loving discipleship, compassionate presence, and unwavering fidelity to Christ and His Church.
"Each day, the Secular Servite will strive to live according to the Spirit in their prayer and apostolic endeavors, their married and family life, their daily labor and in their moments of leisure, that all these may be transformed into the spiritual sacrifice acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."
